Now buy, sell and swap NFTs on Uniswap
A cryptocurrency exchange that uses a decentralized network protocol, Uniswap, shared a news post on its website on Nov 30 to make an announcement that its users can now trade NFTs (Non-fungible tokens) on its native protocol to find more listings and better prices.
The new function will feature NFT collections for sale on platforms such as LooksRare, X2Y2, OpenSea, Sudoswap, Larva Labs, NFT20, NFTX, and Foundation, as informed by Uniswap.
“To bring users the first-rate experience they’ve come to expect with Uniswap, we built the aggregator to deliver better prices, faster indexing, more unassailable smart contracts, and efficient execution.”
While using Uniswap NFT, developers of Uniswap claimed, users can save up to 15% on gas fees as compared to other NFT aggregators. Unifies ERC20 and NFT swapping into a single swap router. Users can swap multiple tokens and NFTs in one swap while saving on gas fees, integrated with Permit2.
The Uniswap NFT aggregator is optimized by UX smart contract Permit2 and powered by the Universal Router smart contract. Both projects are inventions of Uniswap. It “unifies ERC-20 and NFT swapping into a single swap router. Integrated with Permit2, users can swap multiple tokens and NFTs in one swap while saving on gas fees, as per the DEX.
“We originally conceived Permit2 and Universal Router to improve our own products, optimizing gas costs, simplifying user transaction flows, and strengthening security. As we ideated, we realized that other applications could greatly benefit from integrating these contracts.”
Uniswap informed, based on the data available on April 15, 2022, to some specific historical users of NFT aggregator Genie, Uniswap is airdropping approx. 5 million USDC and for the first 22,000 NFT users it will offer gas rebates. Although, the gas rebates given by Uniswap to the users will be available only for two weeks and are capped at 0.01 Ether (ETH).
